Mini Diaper Bags – Big Convenience

There are times when a large or everyday diaper bag is too much and you need a mini diaper bag. Mini diaper bags are smaller versions of the regular, everyday diaper bags, holding just enough items for a short trip away from home.
Mini diaper bags look just like the regular, everyday diaper bags, some with the built-in changing pad and pockets for creams and powders, however they only hold about a 1/4th of what the larger diaper bags hold. This is great for quick trips to the store when you hope your baby won’t need anything, but there is a chance that they might need a quick diaper change or a bottle of formula or juice.
Mini diaper bags can be used for newborns or premature babies because their diapers are so much smaller than regular diapers. And usually, newborns and preemie babies sleep a lot so a quick trip to the store or some place where you know there is a good chance they won’t wake up or need changing or anything, it’s a good idea to bring the mini diaper bag verses the large, regular, everyday diaper bag.
Mini diaper bags can also be used for the older child who is almost potty trained but might have an accident or two. Bring a mini diaper bag with an extra pair of underpants and a clean pair of pants or shorts and your ready to go. This works nicely especially if you don’t carry a large purse to put these items into. A mini diaper bag can save you room and lots of hassle with just the right amount of room and just the right amount of items for either a baby or child.
Most babies only need one or two diapers, a change of clothing just incase of an accidental overflow of the diaper, wipes, powder and/or cream and a toy or two. All of this fits nicely into a mini diaper bag and is easily stored in a stroller bottom basket or carried around your shoulder without too much weight.
Mini diaper bags work well with the umbrella strollers because they are both smaller and compact. The umbrella strollers are used for short trips and so are the mini diaper bags. They make a perfect pair.
What some parents do is bring both the larger, everyday diaper bag and the mini diaper bag if they have several stops to make. And when they arrive at where they are going, fill the mini diaper bag up with what they need from the larger diaper bag. This way they are not loaded down with a lot of diapers and supplies each time the run into a store or someone’s house they are visiting.
Mini diaper bags work as purses when mom is going out to a party where babies are invited, also. There are some stylish mini diaper bags and enough room for mom’s keys, lipstick and a compact – all small items – in addition to the baby’s diapers, bottle and cream or powder. No need to lug around a purse as well as a diaper bag.
