Most people don't realize that if they apply for a small business loan or any loan for that matter all over the Internet instead of just one place that they actually hurt their credit score. The reason for this is that the 3 major credit sources companys use to check your credit consider each request for your credit and factor it in. It only really hurts your credit if you are loan shopping and have multiple loan companies pull your credit report. So do your homework first. Find the company that best suites your needs. Also consider how well the company has done for others. Don't just take the word of the web site you are visiting. The words will definately be biase.
As you are looking into companies to use for requesting a loan, consider checking with the Better Business Bureaus to see how they hae handled disputes in the past. Doing this could save you time, credit and money in the long run.
If you know of any small businesses who were able to start up because they got help from a company getting a small business loan, ask them out right what their experience was like dealing with the company they used. Word of mouth goes a long way they say. In this case it would be highly helpful in helping avoid any hidden problems others may have had.

They deal with banks in your area all the time and will know the right one to go to for you. Yes the company you use will expect compensation, true, but if they can get you the loan you are in need of it just may well be worth avoiding all the hassel and rejection.
