Have you ever been approached by a friend pitching a chance to make some extraordinary amount of money in a short amount of time with no work at all? Did you:
A) Stay and hear them out. Get excited and join them. Become successful. B) Stay and hear them out. Get excited and join them. Fail miserably. Never talk to them again. C) Turn and run as soon as they mentioned business opportunity. Now are scared every time you see them that they are going to try and sell you something.
If you are like me you may have had these similar reactions.
Let's start with the third choice, turn and run. Unfortunately there have been and continue to be lots of fly by night companies that make claims of fast and large amounts of money, all while doing little work at home. These are companies that prey on the vulnerable or inexperienced promising wealth and riches. Turn and run fast! As the old saying goes "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is."
The other thing that turns people off about some home based network marketing businesses is always trying to sell or recruit family and friends to join. Do you want to be that person who everyone at a party ignores or makes an excuse to get away from because they think they are going to get some new sales pitch? How many relationships do you want to lose?
In the second option, the business sounds legit and you sign up after you do some research into the business. You start off with lots of energy, but you go no where fast. Due to lack of training by your mentor in marketing, those promised paychecks never started rolling in. Your business folds and your dreams of working at home go with it. This is a familiar scenario and your outlook on home businesses has now soured.
The first option is not easy, but it is possible through hard work. There are opportunities out there with legitimate companies that will help you achieve for financial and personal goals. With the right mentor, who can teach you step by step, 100% proven marketing strategies you can become a successful home entrepreneur. These strategies can be taught to anyone willing to work to become successful.
Best of all there are ways to market your business without torturing your friends and family. With a home internet marketing business you can be shown how to use the internet effectively. Targeting only people who WANT to hear what you have to say. Not to people who feel obligated, so no relationships will be destroyed.
In conclusion, if you want to work from home there are opportunities out there for you. Research carefully, be skeptical and ask lots of questions before jumping in. Choose a company and mentor that will be there to guide and teach you throughout the process. Following these simple steps can get you started in a new career with a home based business.
